Albany Roadtrip with Churchies.

Day 1. 

Everyone gathered at my house as it was the midpoint between their houses and Albany.

After taking some pictures, a quick brekkie and a group prayer to start our journey, we headed off to Albany in 2 cars, pumped with excitement.

The trip took 4-5 hours, with a short coffee / snack break in between to keep us going.

when we finally arrived in Albany, we checked into our Spa Chalets. 

(s'posed to be normal chalets, but sth happened and it got replace ;D)

and had our first MEAL in Albany. which was ....

Maccas! 

HAHA dw, it tasted the same as any other McDs.

on our first day, we took pictures with the DOG rock, 

which we've passed by oh so many times 

but never realised it was THE Dog Rock everyone was talking about. (= 

(and 'someone' thought it looked like a dolphin. ohh dear xD)

we also looked at statues and sight seeing locations, all located up high in the mountains.

and we explored the public spa that was next to the recreational center that had a pool table, a tennis table, some arcade games, a computer to go online (got to pay) and a lil radio surrounded by two chairs LOL.

(none of us used the spa tub provided in our chalets, i didnt think it was ... hygienic.)

lastly, we ended the night eating spaghetti, kindly made by the chiengs mom.

after that, we watched whatever was showing by the tv provided.

Day 2.

had indo noodles or cereal for brekkie, then we headed off to...

Whale World!

where we learned about how they catch whales, what they do with whales, what whales are made of etc. 

(DIDYOUKNOW that whale fats are called whale blubber?? ;D shocute!)

while we were there, we played with the playground ...

and explored the ship exhibited. (=

we also explored the BlowHoles,

(holes on big rocks where water explodes out from down under.)

but we couldnt see it that day due to the weather =(

nontheless, seeing the Gap and the 

rocks + sea sceneries totally made up for it! ;]

we had a very yummy home babecued lunch, 

generously marinated the night before by Mel and Nick, 

followed by Spa Timee ^^

Before dinner, we got ready for the WindMills!

(sounds boring hey, but trust me, you'll feel SOOO PUUNEY when you're actually there looking up at them! O.O truestory.)

For dinner, we finished the leftover spaghetti from the night before, 

and ended the night with my favourite game of drinks..

THE CIRCLE OF DEATH! x]

Day 3.

started off with a trip to the Giant TreeTop

(which sounded SO geng, but really, IT'S NOT THAT. =.= 

imagine our disappointment~) 

yes took pictures with lotsa trees, we did, 

with Tim playing the flute on his iphone, 

to The Lord Of The Rings soundtrack. 

(coz Mel's an impersonation of the hobbit xD)

When it was finally time for lunch, we tried the oh so famous Danish Pies in Albany!

(it's better than Jesters, ill tell you that ;])

Then we went for more sight seeing!

Dinner was to a fancy seafood restaurant, with prices abit higher than standard.

(yes! we finally got to wear our fancy clothes we brought! ;D)

While waiting for dinner to be prepared, we started doodling with the sheets and crayon provided and guess what kim drew?

TADA! =D

and so we returned home, tired but happy. 

Our last night spent at Albany was a night of drinks and laughter. 

why?

coz Tim and his iphone entertained us with their many funny 

'Yo Mama' jokes, 

Blonde jokes

and Colour jokes xD 

LOL! that was the first time ive never seen or heard Tim laughed so hard and high-pitchedly HAHA!

Day 4. 

My last morning at Albany was spent with my brother. 

Id like to call it, 

Our Morning Camwhoring Session at the Beach!

(around 5-6am? =.=)

When everyone was up and ready, we packed and checked out. Because we still had time to kill before lunch, we decided to play frisbee, chill and relax at a park by the beach.

Lunch was at the Squid Shack, also famous for their Squid Rings! omnomnom~

( they're like squid nuggets, but when i say nuggets, I MEAN NUGGETS!! XDD)

This was our last grocery shopping together, 

except it was for more water and ice cream, not grocery. x]

So back on the road we went, yes it was long, but the thoughts and memories of what fun we had were still lingering around in our minds. We had coffee breaks in between, as usual, and yes, some of us bought souvenirs to bring home with us while other cheap ppls  ...

 ..take pictures with things they want to keep as souvenirs or memories ;] 

wah SHO SMART ONE! ;D
