Colourfuzzled.

Hoping to re-dye my hair this week! (:
Before i do that, i need some help trying to figure out what its fade colour is.
Just because i keep deceiving myself.
(i shant tell you what colours i started off with, 
but i started with two layers of different colours and now.. it's..?)

My roots are black of course,
as my regrowth has managed to
grow three inches out :O

so, what colour is it?

why am i so confused over this?

coz i refuse to believe it's become a boring brown!!!

Time.

so the holidays has started and here's what ive been up to since the 12th of June.
Week 1-2 : recovering from my wisdom surgery at home.
Week 2 : Working everyday except Wednesday, where i visited Main Roads, my placement's venue.

Week 3 : here are my plans for the week before entering July.

BY JUNE.
- shop for necessities (pencil case, purse, gifts and professional clothes)
- re-colour my hair and make it brilliant again! (well, at least i thought it was)
- lose one kilo.

- shopping? half done!
- hair? trimmed and re-coloured!
- weight? lost a kilo! 
(probably lost my muscles though, ive not been exercising at all =C)

I knew it!!! ^^(v)

here i was, wondering and stressing about my weight gain ever since the surgery.
so ive not been pooping since my surgery, because my painkillers had codeine.
Dont get me wrong, i LOOOVE NOT pooping (:
pooping is disgusting and smelly =/
but on the other hand, 
id only like pooping when it clears EVERYTHING in my rectum = weight loss C;

So back to my weight gain.
all this while, i was thinking..

No, it cant be because of my swollen cheeks!

How can swollen cheeks weigh one kilo?!

have i been eating alot?

i have been eating steamboat.. but that isnt fatty at all! they're not exactly carbos o.o

what's happening to me, is my period coming??

i pooped today and realised,

it WAS the pooop all along!! xD 

(imagine how strong our toilet flush has to be, 

if we're pooping a kilo worth of food out per time *woww*)

Surprise Reunion!

So remember when i said i wanted to organise a CVC gathering after my exams? (:

i didddddd very well so! ^^

oh gawdd this is hilarious xD

I didnt take any pictures though, my cheeks were still puffy ><

but it turned out good! (i hope o.O)

everyone ate merrily and had a great time catching up (:

i was happy to see them having fun, that's the whole point of the gathering!

The only thing that left me in wondering, was the price of the steamboat.
How much would one pay for steamboat?
after all, i did ask for budgets before i bought the things..

Is $8 too costly for a night of steamboat AND ice cream?
Maybe it should've been only $5?
If so, with 8 people present,
would people really be content and satisfied with $40 worth of food?

i dont know.. i feel bad asking people for money. who doesnt?
it's just a matter of getting your money's worth i guess..
you dont expect me to treat ya'll $80 worth of food right?

Anyways, it's an amazing feeling to know that people really did have a good time after all.
i was a bit doubtful there, wondering if there'd be any dramas or issues with who i invited, as the guestlist was a surprise ;]

Let's Just Pretend Im Saving Food in my Cheeks hey? :3

SHORT STORY.

It went well! i had an Anesthetist and a Dentist by my side during the surgery, they worked together in the surgery. It lasted for less than an hour, and they only took out 3 wisdom tooth because they said i only had 3! (not sure if it's something to be happy about o.O) anyhoo, my cheeks are really swollen now >< not a good sight to seee~! totally did not expect my cheeks to grow this big =C

 Weds 9am, before the surgery.
(Okay, looking at it now,
my cheeks ARE pretty puffy to begin with,
so can you imagine what it's like PUFFY-ER?! T.T)

LONG STORY.

My appointment was at 9.30am at Livingston's Dentist. i got there right on time, nervous and excited. The Anesthetist got there 2 minutes after i did. While waiting, the friendly Receptionist said
' So Stephanie, how are you feeling today?'
' Umm okay i guess hehe ><'
' Any questions you want to ask before today's surgery, Stephanie? (:'
' Well, yes. i was wondering what i CAN eat after this surgery. or what should i eat after this surgery.. =/'
' Ahh mm, id recommend not eating and waiting for at least 30 minutes before eating. Probably just a bottle of Gatorade or Powerade would do, after the surgery.'
' O.O Powerade?? but.. i dont take energy drinks..'
' Well, you really should think about it coz you'll need the energy ;) dont think you'd be able to chew yet, so drinking would be good.. IN SIPS.'
' okay ... what about frappes! xD'
and she said that as long as i took them in sips, and as long as it'd give me energy for the day. i ofcourse, took that as a YES mhmm mhmm~! ^^

so in i was called, after 5 minutes.

After a brief introduction of ourselves, the anesthetist poked a needle that was connected to a bag of white liquid into my wrist. i assumed it was the anesthetics, as no masks nor fumes were given for me to inhale (: it stung a little bit, as it entered my body but it was bearable so that was a relief! The dentist told me to open my mouth for him to examine while i was still awake. i opened my mouth and BLANK. i fell asleep!


When i woke up, i still felt a little bit drowsy. if i wanted to sleep, i could definitely continue sleeping, but my mind was forcing me to stay awake. i wanted to know what happened, i was pretty excited actually hahaha!


Anesthetist : You've done well Stephanie, how are you feeling?
Me : Mmm sleepyy~..
Anesthetist: Haha dont worry. Give it a few minutes, it will wear off (:


Dentist : We're all done Stephanie, you did well!
Me: -realised one of my boots were missing from my feet- Thanks :D what happened to my boots..? o.o
Dentist : ohh haha you wiggled a little bit in your sleep but everything went really well ^^
Nurse:  hahaha yea the boots seem to be a little looose there so it fell during the surgery! (:
Me: ahh i see *embarassed* whoopsiees


So i stood up and they told me to wait at the receptionist, where instructions will be given. i felt like i was typsy, as i had to concentrate really hard to wake my feet up and walk straight. it was soo easy to bump into walls, my legs felt a little jelly x)  My baby was there to help me fill in forms while i got my head straight, thank God!

So here's how much it has swelled since Wednesday (:

 One side is bigger than the other because they only took 3 wisdom tooth out rmbr? 

that means,

ONE from my left & TWO from my right 

= 

SWOLLEN left & DOUBLESWOLLEN right

How can i NOT get sick when i didnt want to in the first place =C this is why you should EAT YOUR VITAMINS GUYS!

So ive been having a cold for 2 weeks, and i thought, meh it's just another cold. Flu comes and goes yea?
But how wrong i was! at the end of the two weeks, i woke up one morning with a headache and pain in my right ear. yes i still had my flu, and my ear (only one) was blocked. I thought maybe it's because i didnt have enough sleep, so i told my mom im not feeling well for church and then slept. 

When i woke up, it was still there! and so i thought 'maybe ive been sleeping for too long this time'. i brushed it aside and didnt pay much attention to it. As time passed by, the pain started growing and the headache was started giving me sudden shocks of pain, almost like a migraine. all i wanted to do was lay in my bed and rest, to make my world stop spinning and hope that my head would calm itself down somehow, but i had things to do in the afternoon. i had people coming over to finish our little project.


Before they came over, it suddenly struck me. 'UH OH. i think i have an inflammation in my ear.. o.O'
so i went to search its symptoms and voila! 

it is true! i was showing minor symptoms of Ear Inflammation!! :O


i prayed and prayed and tried not to think about it. when our little group arrived, we did our things and i pushed myself to contribute as much as i could, to speak and finish as much as i could while i still had the energy to. When they went home, i was in so much pain that all i could do was lie down and hold my head, and furiously massaged my ear, trying to take the pain away. 

My family came home and we went to the 'After Hours GP' at 4pm. there was soooooooo many people there, and everyone was new to the clinic as well. because there was only ONE doctor there, i had to wait from 4pm until 6pm for my turn (i was the 10th person) -.-

ohh mai wrinkleessss ._.

(For Doctors out there, here's a job HIGH in demand for you! 

like seriously, we need MORE of you guys out there.)

it was a horrible experience, waiting there feeling all sick and in pain, tired and weak. everyone else was feeling the same, and there's nothing they can do about it. all you could do was tell yourself to hang in there, everyone's in the same situation as you, thank God for after hours GP right? ;/

So the doctor told me what i already knew, prescribed me some antibiotics in case my temperature went up and advised that i took some anti-inflammatory first. My exam was the next day, my first AND hardest. i was so disappointed in not being able to sit for it, able mentally but physically unable to. i was so devastated.

As soon as i was able to focus and type to my Unit Coordinator to inform her about missing the exams, i did and i was so worried about not being allowed to defer because my Medical Certificate looked so .. lacking.
it just looked like something i could come up with and print myself, it looked like something i could get away with by faking an illness >< it didnt look promising at all.

but like all cliched dramas , there is always a happy ending (:
my Unit Coordinator got back to me (today!) a week after i emailed her and said i can sit for my exam tmrw.

That i shall accept! no complaints & no regrets ^^

Thank you my Father who's always got my back.

Two more exams, and we're good to go!
