Why Not Click Donate (:

Im trying out a NEW CHALLENGE this year,
where ill be living on $2 on FOOD from 7th-11th May.
to support those people in extreme poverty!

ive never done these kinds of challenges in life before,
where you JUST COLLECT MONEY from people.
up till now, ive only been involved in programs where you
SELL THINGS FOR MONEY to support a foundation.

Why?
i guess one of the biggest reasons why i knew about these kinds of challenges but never went for them was because i never believed in donating by grace. Being brought up in an Asian family, we always want the best deals for our money's worth! the best for the least price! At first, i thought only Asian families are like this but no.

After meeting Australian customers and people, you do find quite a number of them who're like us to ; wanting the best deal for the least price. Im sure Msians do fight for special deals, but my first witnessed encounter with this behaviour was in Australia, good ole Australia. The worst thing about it is, Australians VERBALLY fight about it too!

His Impact.
Anyways, i can go on and on about the many people who wouldnt want to donate but worry not! coz there is light in all of this. about two weeks ago, i met this new friend who shaved his head for the 'World's Greatest Shave' foundation, where they support people with Leukemia. When i spoke to him, i realised how vain and important his hair is to him. He was even still embarassed about showing his bald head around.

Before i used to think that it's okay that guys shave their head, simply because they are GUYS and because shaving their hair IS a guy's style of hair anyways!

After meeting him, i realised how very wrong i was. He's one of those vain guys, some might describe as a 'TeenyBopper/TB', coz he'd style his nest of hair and colour it and always ALWAYS spike it up before he goes out. Now, he has no hair left, no trace of colour or hair to style. All that was left was his bald head that hurt when rubbed against something, or when wearing a shirt.

at the end of his challenge, he's managed to raise more than he'd imagined. EVEN more than i'd imagined too!
so yes, because things like that DOES happen, ive decided to help the world and make a difference too.

so come SUPPORT AND DONATE HERE
where all donations will help extreme poverty and inequalities!
If you're donating with paypal, just drop me a msg and ill get back to you straightaway (:
