Sitting outside, under the stars, with Mel + Esther talking about everything and anything.

Drinking the worst champagne ever, just because Moscato wasnt cold.

and finally, 

Realising how much i love parties not because of getting drunk or getting high or screwing with alcohol, 

but because everyone looked so wonderful and so happy....

it made me feel like im in this happy & peaceful place,

where i can smile all the time, 

without a single worry.

THAT was how i felt. ^^

Missy's 21st is this coming Thursday and Dad's Birthday is this coming Saturday!

oh myy ohh myyy so many birthdays!!
So manyy things to prepare and do, so little timee!!


Although dad's bday is on Saturday, we're having Missy's 21st party on Saturday, 
together with Dad's birthday!

Definitely CANT WAIT for the party, the theme is 'All Things Bright and/or Beautiful'
what shall i wear i wonder? ;)

We're gonna have the party at our house, we've sent out invitations, we've got the catering done, we've bought the balloons and banners, the sparkling candles, we've arranged for extra tables and chairs, we've tidied the house and planned the arrangement of various things and many more. 

All in all, this is gonna be our FIRST BIG BASH AT OUR HOUSE AND IM EXCITED. YATA!

Swimming.

Yes, Mel, Esther, Loony and i decided to pay for a YEAR's worth of swimming. 

Plan was to swim weekly, to tone up, lose weight and stay fit. and healthy.

so off we went, to LeisurePlex at 8am one Thursday morning.

I'll take pics of the Slow, Medium & Fast Lanes the next time. it was soooo cute!  

(For now, let's pretend there are pictures.)

So Esther and i went to the slow lane, while Mel went into the Medium and Loony went for the Fast. 

(pfft, them fast swimming ppl!)

Anyways, i was feeling rather sick already, as i entered the water. i reckon it was because my ear was so blocked my my cold, that when i entered the water, my pressure and balance in my ear just went crazy.

Nontheless! Esther and i did our best to swim. 

and when i said best, i MEAN BEST.

-After one lap-

huff puuff hufff pufff ohh myy gawdd kill meee i cantt breattheee hufff pufff sooo tirinnggg gaahhh!

-After 5 laps-

ngehhhh weee huuuu weeeee huuuu urghhh haiihhh sigghhh phewww baahhhhhh ngghhhh hwaittinngg!!

-After 12 laps-

dieee dieeee urghhhh huufff puffff whooooo finisshhhh let's gooooo gaahhhhhboohhh we can do itt!!!

-After 16 laps-

(Let's complete 800m, like the Olympic Races! wanna guess who's idea? ;D) 

enougghhh enouugghhh urrghhhh tireedddd where are the otherss stoppp urghhhh i dont mind dying noww!!!!

SO after much struggles, we strived with our very best and we made it! 

first time swimming after a VERY long time, we made an 800m record.

The next time we go swimming, it'll be more than 800m ><" MYGAWD.

CNY & Valentines!

This year's Chinese New Year was better than last years', i reckon. 

This year, we had something different at work!

Tadaa! Lion Dance at Work! 

twas really REALLY noisy! after NOT hearing it for 2 years, my ears had forgotten how loud lion dances usually were. The funniest part of this event was when i was serving customers while the lion was dancing around. We ended up doing hand gestures to each other.

eg. 

Sta: (finished punching the price in.) uhh...points to the price in the screen with a smile.

Customer: nods head and took out the money.

Sta: mouthed 'Thank You' with a big smile and a nod.

Customer: mouthed 'Thank You' and thumbs up and a nod.

Sta: gives them their table number and mouthed 'Number', while pointing to it.

Customer: Nods and waves the number while mouthing 'Thank You'. ^^

Sta: omg, lion behind you! :O

Customer: O.O Turns around.

-Shrieks!-

Then for Home on that Sunday, we had a festive Malaysian-style Lunch. 

As mom called it, Lunch was the.. 

"CHINESE NEW YEAR FOOD"

On the same day, because it was Valentines Day, mom ran into my room and said

" AI! WHO'S FLOWERS ARE THOSE? 

WHO IS IT FOR?? 

IS IT FROM YOUR SECRET ADMIRER?? =O"

It turned out that those were flowers from my Dad to Mom, of course. 

Obviously, her plan to wake me up aka. get me excited, worked. -.-"

Valentines 2010

The night before, i'd received my very own Valentines though. ;)

Y'know how ppl say that the littlest things can brighten ones day?

Yea, it made my Valentines Day even more....meaningful.

I learnt that giving something to others close to you, not only your bf/gf,  

makes them feel veryyy much loved & appreciated.

Anyways, we ended the day with Church in the evening.

Nick drove us there, so i camwhored with mom. (Y)
